Congratulations to Teresa Clark (Shachar-Hill Laboratory) for receiving a 2017-2018 Barnett Rosenberg Research Assistantship for her scientific endeavors, teaching, and service. For her PhD work, she has been using computer-aided mathematical modeling of plant metabolism to understand how plants interact with mutualistic soil microbes and to quantify metabolic networks in oilseeds. She has also been actively involved in teaching and service activities, including co-organizing a session on science outreach to Africa at the 2016 PBHS symposium.
